Default b16a2 compression question

Hi guys im new to Honda-tech and I just have a question about b16a2. So im in the works of buying an 99 Si. The guy did a compression test and it came out 165 170. I don't know how much it should be running so before I buy it i wanted to ask you guys if that sounds about right. If not how much should it be running ?

It's older and will have lower compression numbers anyways. That seems fine as long as they were pretty close together. You only listed 2 numbers so I assume they were all within that range which is OK for a higher mileage engine. There are multiple things that could affect a compression test though like throttle plate open or not, warm or cold engine, inaccurate gauge, etc...
