Default B16A1 or B16A2/A3

This is my first message and first I want to say hi to all

I am planning to get a B16A this summer. I'm not sure which one to get though. A1 has 10 less hp. I guess A1 has a smaller throttle body (?) and intake manifolds look different. Most probably A1s have more miles on them. please correct me if I'm wrong. So, actually what is the difference between them and does it really worth paying one grand more for the B16A2/A3?

Thanks..

Compression ratio, age, quality of craftsmenship, age, the year of your car (not legal to put an older engine into a car, age, possiblity of parts broken on older engine/tranny, age, EDIT:(I forgot some stuff of course) cams, age.

The 16A2's and A3's are newer engines however, if you feel you are going to completley rebuild the engine with goodies anyway and your chasis is older then the 16A1's then get a A1 and spend the extra money on goodies for the engine rebuild it will most likely need.

I don't know but it would be better if you check your local laws. That's what I'll do before I start buying things.
