B16a timing belt does not fit!!!
Because its really cold out (and the lack of right tools) I took my car to Honda to get the timing belt and water pump replaced. I did my research and found that a JDM b16a uses the same timing belt and water pump as a 1994 DOHC Del Sol, so I special ordered those parts.
Well I took my car in today and 2 hours later they call saying all the parts are wrong and they don't match up. I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find why they wouldn't fit...
Anybody know anything about JDM b16a's?

Just check the motor tag to see what motor it is and as far as the belt and pump go just type in the part numbers on Majestic and it will tell you exactly what car they are for.

If you were shipped an LS water pump by accident then the belt will not fit. Usually has the teeth amount stamped on the pump. Its been a while but I think the LS is 19T and B16/GSR is 22T.
And ditto on what Moi said. If you have a B16B then you will need GSR parts.
