ok i have a couple questions to ask...i just bought a 93 hatch with a b16a in it...it had a type r manifold on it but it has a gsr intake manifold on it now now with that and headers and i dont kno what else is on the motor yet..will it pass smog? and if it wont..what do i need to do to smog it? can everyone provide me with informatio to smog the car and whatsoever thanks

 

Got fresh ignition components and new oil? I'd run a stock ecu. Timing (16 btdc) and fuel pressure (35-41 psi vac hose on fuel pressure regulator) should also be at stock settings. Make sure the cat is good and your o2 sensor is working properly.

I don't think you'll pass the visual with a gsr intake manifold. I could be wrong. I'm not a CA resident.

 

if the smog guy knows his hondas then i think you will need a bar sticker.

 

sorry to bring this up from the dead again..i odn thave to worry about visual cuz its my girls brother...he wont trip...but its completly stock right now b16 manifold stock headers good cat good o2 sensor and jus a short short ram intake..timing was retard badly so i fixed that its on the dot right now..exactly in the middle of the red line..and fuel pressure is set at 45 on gas and 42 idle...good? what else should i check
