Default B16a SiR Wire harness?

Ok, my friend is in the middle of swapping a B16a into his 90' civic SI and he was wondering if the SiR harness will work with his swap. He got the motor out of a complete front clip so he has the entire harness and everything looks the same as the stock SI harness except for the extra VTEC wires. And no RHD doesn't matter on the wiring harness because it is set up exactly the same as a LHD harness. Will it work?

it should work.. but you may need to lengthen the wires to accomodate the LHD

and you may need to cut some plugs off and splice different or more on..

it wont work

just transfer over your stock harness and add the vtec, oil pressure, knock sensor, and 2nd o2 wires

thats the easiest thing to do. why fight a backwards harness?

OK, The car belongs to me, and the harness is not backwards! All of the plugs plug in on the same side as the LHD harness (right at the fuse box on the passanger side). The plugs are all exactly the same except for the round plug located next to the injector resistor box. The plug is larger because it has more wires. I do now that I will have to wire the four additional VTEC wires to the ECU but I just wanted to know if anyone has done this or knows for sure whether or not it will work?

if it is a JDM SiR harness and i was assuming it was, it would be backwards but since i dont have that much to go on, the easiest thing to do if it is a JDM SiR harness is to cut the connectors and just back pin em to the ecu. the Si harness has all you need but 3 sensors. knock, oil switch, and v tec soleniod.

I had to get rid of the SI harness with the stock motor. The harness is not backwards no matter what anyone says. Yesterday I compared the harness on both cars and they both plug in on the right side of the engine bay at the fuse box. Forget it, I'll just let you guy know how it turns out because everyone seems to think that a RHD harness plugs in on the opposite side as the USDM one.....It doesn't!
