okay i have a 91 hatch i put a b16a in turboed and everything is fine but it red lines at 7k and its got the pr3 ecu so it should go to 82k need to fix this problem tryed another ecu and it does the same thing does anyone have any input on how to wire this up or fix this problem. thanks

Throwing any codes?

You may have been stuck with an Auto PR3 ECU, which redlines around there (assuming your tach is accurate).

Easy way to tell: Pull off the top of the ECU and look for a stamp. It should say "AT" or "MT" in big red letters. Obviously, "AT" means automatic.

 

Cant be the ECU. Auto PR3 has the rev limiter set at 7800rpm.
