B16a problem with dizzy, plz help!!
hopefully i'm putting this thread in right place, if not sorry!
I just bought a b16a and started ripping it apart for rebuild, I noticed that one of the legs is been cut from the dizzy (what does this mean) I am doing the swap into a crx HF, is this supposed to be like this, or do i need to find a replacement. It is JDM obd0 B16a, I read that it may be a american dizzy and you have to cut a leg off, is this true? The alluminum casting is also broke were the dizzys top bolt bolts up, do i need to fix this and how to i go about that if I do....Thanks for your help.

Someone must of had to cut it off to fit it to something else. Thats the only reason people would cut. It should still work fine. That has nothing to do with its performance.
