My b16a idle surges really bad when its cold. After it warms up its fine. I tried cleaning my IACV but the surging is still the same. is it iacv related or what? Everything is connectedas far as vaccum lines are concerned. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed the coolant recently? If so did you bleed it?
Have you changed your TB or has you TPS become unset for some reason?
These are two problems I had with my B16
I would start by resetting your ecu.

 

Hey thanks for the tip. I took the Fitv off and cleaned it and relubricated the spring housing etc. Although it still surges the idle seems alot better. it used to stick at around 2500 rpms when held there for a while. but that problem is fixed now. maybe something to do with the throttle body or something. or maybe my chipped ecu.
