Default b16a cable tranny question?

As off now i have a 92 ys1 (ls) tranny, I love the highway gearing but, I hate how going 2nd to 3rd, takes forever. I wanna upgrade my tranny because of this and the fact that a crack has emerged in the casing.

What is the best tranny to get for a decent off the line run and decent highway run (I don't want to be at 4500 rpms in 5th at 60 and also i would like to be able to get a lsd and i know only the ys1 and y1 came with lsd)

Any advice??

thanks

With the Y1, you have a 4.266 FD and the option of a LSD. At 60 in 5th, you're at about 3300 RPM. If you can find one, go for that.
