B16A block girdle on b20?

Im building a high revving B20 for my track bitch. My buddy has a complete B16A block(popped pistons). I know machining would be involved(the middle main has to be machined down, along with dowel holes), but could that girdle be retro'd to the B20? I know you can do this with GSR girdles(my girlfriend had it done on hers), I just didnt know if there were any differences between the GSR and B16A girdles...

Hrmm....you could be right, but I thought all factory B Vtec motors had them...
