Default b16a and b18a starter motors

are these the same?

can i take one from the b18a and use it on the b16a?

The actual starters? yes...they are all the same..regardless of what year it came out of jsut make sure it bolts up.

The only difference in starters is automatic starters are different then manual starters. A starter only has a positive and negative connection

I have a starter pulled from my friend b16 running in my b18c1 engine setup

doesn;'t really matter what engine it is. it is bolted up to the tranny!
