hey guys i have a b16a auto with automatic tranny. i just wanted to know if its safe to run the car till it redlines and then changes gear?

My question is why wouldn't that be safe? 
Yes, you're fine. It's just like anything else, you beat on it for long enough, eventually it's going to break. The auto transmissions are a very big weak link in your system, so it'll break quicker, but hey, just a chance to swap to manual. :p
