My 5th gear pops out so i dont even use it anymore......anyway i was told for the b16 the 5th gear from the ls tranny is better because its longer "highway driving"
well here is my question i am replacing my clutch soon bascily how much work is involved in doing this?
and where is the best place or if anyone know where to get the actually gear and all the parts for this

The cost is soley dependent on whether or not you are going to be doing the work or not. The 5th gear can be bought from the dealer for less than 200 bucks I beleive, and that includes the syncros for reverse.

Now its time to ask yourself....is it more cost effective to buy another tranny all together, or fix the one you have.
