hey i have a obd0 b16 inside a 91 civic dx and it dose not run rite when i 1/2 or 1/4 throttle it runs like fuel is not maping rite or something from 2500 till about 4500 rpms then it corrects itself and run fine till redline i changed the injuctors,distributor,fuel filter.and did a full tune up nothing helps. The olny codes it throws are 17 and 22, I also checked the timeing and it is set correct .TheTPS and map sencer are all brand new CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!

 

is the tps adjusted rite?

well check the wiring you could have got them mixed up.

I feel like i'm always tellin ppl about the tps.

notice how when you install it, it can rotate?
WELL thats because it needs to be set to a specific position, you need to tap into its wiring and see what voltage it's putting out,

then set it to .5closed and 4.5openthrottle

can be the difference between an engine running perfectly or not running at all..

 

you take voltage from the input and output i believe their is three wires but when check the voltage you sweep your throttle plate out with the throttle cable of course and it should go up steady and read 4.5 i believe at full throttle i havent done it in a awhile so please someone correct me if im wrong here and their but i dont think i am this is done with the car off and battery one

u just put the key in the on position but dont start the engine
