Default B16 starting issue

My b16 will never start from the first try when it is cold what could be the problem

Well it once it is warm it will start right up, but when the engine is cold i always have to give it exactly 2 trys to start up

underneath the dash on the driver side, its held on by two 10mm bolts

I don't think it's the main relay. Try adjusting the throttle stop screw on your tb. I had this problem when mine vibrated out. After getting a replacement, I had to adjust it so that the throttle lever was slightly open. By adjusting that it added a tinge of fuel. It was enough to make the car start on the first try.

i already adjusted the tb and its not it, how do i konw if my main relay is busted

Look at the main relay and find pins 1 and 7.. Put a jumper in there and try to start the car.. If it starts on the first try where it wouldnt before then your main relay is bad..
