B16 starting issue

I don't think it's the main relay. Try adjusting the throttle stop screw on your tb. I had this problem when mine vibrated out. After getting a replacement, I had to adjust it so that the throttle lever was slightly open. By adjusting that it added a tinge of fuel. It was enough to make the car start on the first try.

Look at the main relay and find pins 1 and 7.. Put a jumper in there and try to start the car.. If it starts on the first try where it wouldnt before then your main relay is bad..
