b16 Power timing belt

b16 Power timing belt

i put a Power timing belt to my B16A with deck plate bcos its 1.8L stroked.and there is some slack on the belt even though i had it tighten all the way.any idea?may be i got the wrong timimg belt it says for B16B/b18C,but then shouldnt the fit b16a too?

B16B is not the same as B16A, they have different deck heights..

The B18C & B16B are taller, which is why you have slack in the belt. You need a B16A belt..
