b16 and LS crank pully the same?
As topic states, are these pullies the the same? I have an LS one kicking around and want to take it to the machine shop and have the 2 extra slots taken off.
yes i want the PS and A/C ground off. Less rotating mass and more room for the swap, that crank pull can sometime be a pain while trying to fit b-series into EF chassis. I have done enough to do it fast, but I would still like to have those ground off.
It's not that bad... I put a B18C into my friend's 88 CRX... It clears, but a single underdrive pulley would probably look cleaner... I hate A/C and PS anyways they just make the motor look too cluttered... So does ABS and cruise... I would just get an Unorthodox one.. They look way clean... Latez
This has been discussed to death, I want to keep the harmonic balancer in the stock pulley. Unorthadox does not offer this. Plus I bet that this is a cheaper way to do it.
they arent the same size, the b16 crank is slightly smaller than the ls. But the ls and the gsr are the same size. I think it goes by displacement, quote me if im wrong though

In a related question, could I bolt up a b16a crank pulley and alternator to a b20 and use the same b16 belts? And will this not overdrive the accesories like I heard the b20 crank pulley does? thanks.
Payn Technologies sells lightened stock crank pulleys ... i believe they are rebalanced too. www.payntechnologies.com
