Im actually having pretty much the same idle problem. It will idle at 2g then drop down to a g and keep doing the same thing. I think my problem is theres a vac spot on the back of the intake mani where there should be a vac line but im not sure where it goes. Anyone know where that goes on a b16? I think it ties into the line going into the fuel rail

could be a problem with the lower wax element on the bottom of the throttle body. Take your intake off when the car is running and use your finger to plug each one of the holes on the side of it. Do that one at a time and which ever hole you plug changes your idle that's what is wrong unles there is a large vacum leak.
Top hole is for the rear IAC valve on the back
Bottem hole is for the wax element on the bottom of throttle body.

The problem is one of two things vaccuum leak (probably off of the black catch can on the back of the block) or tps

i will try all of these suggestions tomorrow... i dont think my plugs are mixed up because.... i had to extend the original ex harness... and i havent had any problems until now.... i was gonna replace the tps.... just to see if it helped.... i also sourced that from a junkyard originally...... but those holes i am supposed to cover where are those located at again.....

i just stuck my finger over the hole in the throttle body....it lowered my idle like 200 rpms.... nothing worth bragging about...... i also just checked my codes im throwing 10 and 3..... 10 is intake air temp.... i replaced my intake gasket with a spacer.... has thrown this code ever since..... and 3 map sensor...... i can unhook my map sensor and the car still runs..... not sure how but it does...... does anyone know if this can cause the car to idle to high?????
