i was just wondering because there is the OBD0, OBD1 AND OBD2 ... so 1st gen 2nd gen and 3rd.
i did search but i was confused about some things. like the B16A1 and where that falls into place what gen it is where it came from. usdm all that

pr3 pistons are 1st gen and p30 are 2nd i've learned that so far..
but i keep reading places that say B16A2 is the 92-95 SIR-II engine... is this a misconception or did they do a JDM 92-95 B16A and B16A2??

 

im sorry if i seem stupid but are the 2nd gen b16a and b16a2 heads the same, i wanna just be sure cuz i wanna buy an intake manifold, throttle body and cams for it but i wanna make sure the parts will fit the 2nd gen jdm head since they are for a b16a2

 

8 also years late to the party? Anyway! P30 ECU w/ JDM B16A out of a del Sol in my EC9 Hatch, stock tune but with a Hondata s300 V3 chip (pending tuning) VTEC engages @ 4800rpm and I’ve had her up to 151MPH!
