Default B16 Block w/ GSR Head??

I have a B16a2 Block with GSR Head, I tried putting a P72 GSR ECU in and it revs out a 6k and starts smoking white like theres a fuel problem so I put my stock P28 back in, what would cause that? Another question is how are some ways I can make my car pull alot harder and faster???

Does your car actually run with the P28 in there? I thought that it couldn't with the GSR intake manifold? Correct me if I'm wrong...

it would run, but the IABs wouldnt work correctly. Check the ECU for a chip that may poorly burned. I used a B16 block and GSR head on my old car, worked wonderfully. Smooth powerband, more torque than a normal B16, revved like crazy.

You will ideally need to retune the p72 for a smaller displacement engine, though.
