Default b16 and a6 ecu

would this cause anything having a a6 ecu with a b16 engine? i am running this because i dont have vtec, knock, o2, oil pressure lines hooked up yet?

it would cause your engine to run very lean and timing will be way off

well then maybe i'll drop in the b18 one or else the b16 one, but can i put the b16 one in if i dont have vtec, knock, or o2 hooked up?

whats your goal with this?
are you having trouble finding a B16A ecu for your engine? or are you worried about driving around with an A6 (PM6) ecu until you find a B16 ecu? cuz if thats the case, you CAN use the PM6 ecu on the B16 to get around.

yeah well ive got a b16 ecu but i still am waiting for a buddy to come over and finish off the wiring on the car, the 4 wires needed for the b16...and i have no clue how to do it myself, unless someone has a good link

Dunno that you're comfortable soldering, but you can add components to the 90-91 PM6 ECU, or find a 90-91 PS9 out of an automatic Civic EX, and have onbe wire VTEC much like ZDyne offers. You can probably get chip burner, chipping supplies, and a PS9 or the small parts needed for your PM6 (if it's 90-91 and chippable) for the $150 a PR3/PW0 runs.
