Default B series Valve adjustment question

I need to give my b16 a valve adjustment and I have the specs and everything but when you stick the feeler gauge between the cam and roller, which lope of the cam do you measure on per cylinder.

ie. if im doing cylinder number one on the exhaust side, which lope do I measure?

same questions for intake side.

sry but ive never done it before and im trying to learn. thanks

or maybe you can look at ait a different way... adjust using the lobes with the adjustment screws under them?
