B-series tranny help
Done a few searches but had a hard time finding any solid info on this:
I have a b18c1 swap in my eg hatch with the stock GSR tranny, the tranny is going out and I'm looking for a replacement. Since I am going to be doing a lot more freeway driving for school next semester I am looking at an Ls tranny. So here's my question, I know that the trans will bolt up just fine but could I use my upgraded act clutch and flywheel from the gsr trans on the Ls and have it work as well?
Sorry for the long post, but thanks for looking

Performance isn't that big of an issue right now since it is my daily driver. As for the tranny I have now it has a slight grind and 2nd gear pop-out. I thought about doing a 5th gear swap, but it sounds kinda pricy.

do it yourself... follow a helms and you won't have any problems. while you're in there, replace everything that is replaceable. you'll hate the ls trans mated to your gsr motor... it'd likely drop you out of vtec on upshifts.
