yes, b18C1 and C5 works with all B series block, now but it's not vice versa...

B18C1 and C5 is deeper...while others is shallow

b16a and b18b oil pans are the same. If you use the C oil pan, oil have to use that oil pick up as well.

So all b-series oil pans are the same bolt pattern and gasket, but the C1 and C5 are deeper? If I need a new pan for my b17a any b-series would work, but if I get a deeper one I'd be able to use the different pickup with it?

Edit: This is the exact same question as Tekken's, as I know that a b17a and b18a are the exact same.

Same bolt pattern and gasket on all b series pans. Extra room built into the b18c, b18c1 and b18c5 to clear the main bearing girdle. Use the matching pick-up that goes with the pan.

But can I still use the B18b oil pickup if I don't have a B18c one. As long as I keep the oil level full it will be okay right?

It's definitely different than the b18c. I guess you will need to try it to see if it needs to be modified.

So if you have a ITR pan on a b18a/b or b20 block, you have to use the ITR pickup even though the b18a/b and b20 don't have the girdle???

Pan and pick-up have to match. Nothing to do with girdle.
