Default Axles binding?

My friend just finished his H22 swap in his 94 VX hatch, when you drive it their is a horrible vibration and clunk coming form the right front that increases with speed. But when you jack the car up and put it on jack stands there is no vibration at all, even if you take it up to 100mph (I know it isn't safe but he wanted to see if it would vibrate). He has the HASPORT axles in the car so I wouldn't think it would be the axles binding, any suggestions? It also has a complete teg GSR suspension on it.

When you lower the car, it compresses the axle joints in, thus you need a shorter axle (on the side that it's binding, or both if needed). Depending on what axles you're using, get shorter ones. Say for example you're using 90-93 Integra axles. Go to 88-89 Integra axles are they are about an inch shorter, and switch to the Prelude inner joints and the cup is deeper and allows for more play.

Thanks man, but wouldn't you think that his custom made hasport axles would work? even with the car lowered?

Forgive me for asking, but is your friend using HASPORT mounts? If the answer is yes, has the car ever been in an accident? Also, did he drive the car on the GSR suspension before the swap? If not, he might try putting on the stock suspension and see if the problem goes away. Also, your friend could call Joe or Todd at Hasport tomorrow and see if they have any other ideas. Good Luck.
