axles for 99 si
why is it difficult finding axles for a 99 si, the two local honda dealers kept bringing me sohc axles(yes the long one without the intermediate shaft that goes straight into the tranny) then they said that they sell the lower and upper joints separatly for $225-$250. I also tried advance, autozone, and pepboys they also kept bring sohc axles. whats the deal on getting si axles, going to the acura dealer and getting teg axles as I heard from a friend?

Re: axles for 99 si (BlkSIvic)
I have never had a problem getting axles for my GSR.
Yes the dealership sells them in pieces, and Autozone type sells remanufactured knockoffs. Autozone knockoffs go for about 60-70 a pop with core exchange.
Make sure you specify ABS or not too.
Parts guys are about as stupid as they get, especially dealer parts!
