Axle stuck on B16

Axle stuck on B16
The driver side axle is stuck on my friends 99 b16. The boot piece is stuck in there. Part of the shaft is out but the end piece is still in there. Any help is appreciated.

pry bar, um patience. if that doesn't work try air chisel w/dull blunt wedge like bit(That is if you tried many long hours trying to remove it with a pry bar.)
