a big hammer seriously hold a small hammer on onse side of the lower control arm(lca) and hit the other side a few good hard times and it will drop down.becarefull not to hit anything but the metal lca
you might have to lift it up a little to get the lca to drop down

tryed the hammer didn't do it this time. used the balljointremover didn't get it, but i did manage to rip the rubber on the balljoint[my mad skills]. pitman arm puller got it in 2 seconds BINGO thanks ya'll for the help.
Undo the shock fork and take it out, then take out the cotter key and the 17 mm on the lower ball joint, finally lift the hub up and stick a Craftsman 3/8" drive ratchet handle between the LCA and the hub so that it is perpendicular to the floor. It is kind of a pain to get it in there so it stays but once it is there slam your foot down on the hub and it will come free. If you have a sway bar make sure you have both tires off of the ground so the LCA can move. This is the best way and it is fast once you get used to it, besides you won't split the ball joint boot either.
