automatic ecu with a 5spd car

what will this do? i found out that my b16 ecu is a automatic and my car is 5 spd...
i get no codes besides knock(not hooked up) also i am trying to figure out my erratic idle, think this might be the problem??

I belive your idle is going up and down. The reason for this is that the auto ecu idle is set at a higher rpm, basically for the trans. This will affect your idle and also performance. There is a way to fix this problem with your idle. Go to http://www.hondata.com and it will show you how to convert auto ecu to manual. It should be in the installation guide for the s200. You should be able to fix your problem easily. Good luck!

i am going to try my buddys ecu tonight and see if that is my idle problem and hopefully it will also be faster than before...it better work or else i am outta idaes for what my idle problem is
