Auto Trans Problems and Questions....HELP
I pulled my trans, BOYA, and replaced the converter seal, o'ring on the converter, and the shifter **** sela, as it was leaking around the coverter area pretty good.
I put it back in, and tried adjusting the throttle cable, as it says, take the slack out of the cable with the adjusting nuts. And when I hooked the trans cooler lines back up, I reversed them, and they fit better reversed. My thought was it wouldn't matter as it is just flowing through the radiator for cooling purposes.
When I drive it now, it slips into gears, and when you get above 3,500 RPMS in 3rd or 4th, it just free revs, won't catch.
After driving about 45 mins, it throws a P0715 code. I checked the mainshaft and countershaft sensor for their resistance readings, both were good.
Any thoughts? Could the converter be bad? It is strange, everything was working fine prior to pulling it and replacing those seals....and it was rebuilt about 15 months ago.
So any ideas would be appreciated.
Thnaks....
