Default Auto to manual pricing?

Does anyone know how much it would cost to make a 90 HB into a manual? I really don't want to get rid of the car - so if I could make it a manual it would probably save me a lot of money and time, I would not be able to do any of the work myself... so that's out of the question

it should be about $3000 or around there. i owuld recommend getting an LSD tranny, if you have the money, it wil help your handling and traction.

I'm not a millionaire, and are you talking for a 88-91 civic? I am going to be buying all the parts myself ... just labor cost, sorry for not stating that and not really in need of an LSD tranny

money is one thing I don't have!

then do you it yourself, getting junkyard parts and the like should run about $500-$700. labor will rape your wallet and come back for more

I get a hookup at the junkyard, what is the difficulty of pulling the pedal assembly? - I am not the smartest person in the world that's why I won't even BOTHER doing this on my own... my thought was while someone was doing my engine swap (I am gettin a d16z6 swapped) that I would convert my car into a manual at the same time
