Default auto to manual conv. wiring help ?

hi
I'am doing a manual convercion to a friend of mine and I was wondering if u need to do any wiring under the dash of the car , like how to set the car on park the whole time so i can remove my key everytime i get of the car ? a diagram would be great

the easiest thing to do is just unscrew the **** holding the harness into the automaic shifter when you take it off, and leave it there. for the reverse lights to work, you must take the 2 fat black wires and splice them together. double check the wiring diagram for the reverse lights though. good luck, that's the quickest and easiest way.
