Default auto & man crank balancing?!?!?

Just curious to know before I build my motor.

Are 2 exact motor. For example an b18b auto and a manual one balanced the same. I just thought about it...if I have a automatic b18b(ls) motor and im going over to manual and put on a stock ls flywheel ...would the motor be unbalanced by alot....i mean 80% of ppl dont do any balancing and they get by...im just worried about doing what I said and the motor to be unbalanced and increasing the chances of messing up a bearing.

Short answer:Yes, they are. Put the right flywheel on it and quit worrying.

Switching to the flywheel won't effect the balance. It would be a good idea to have the flywheel resurfaced and balanced.
