auto B20b cams...?
hey guys,
i'd heard somewhere along the grapevine that the stock automatic b20b head and cam creates less power than the manual... is this true?
plus, is it no issue to throw a manual gearbox onto an auto block? no need for an 'adaptor plate'? aslong as i have a manual ecu too ofcourse...
be great to hear some replies!
thanks guys!

auto and manual are same engines, only reason why theres different power is because when it is dyno'd, the power is loss in the transmission. inorder to put the manual transmission on, you will need to remove the flex plate and install a flywheel and use the manual flywheel bolts
sweet as!!
when i'm getting a mid-shaft... should i get one that matches the gearbox? eg if i get a b16 gearbox, will get b16 mid-shaft and driveshafts?

well if ur gonna get the axles, to go with the mid shaft, just make sure it goes with that shaft, like if i could remember correctly, the mid shaft that comes with the 99 b16 si is a male, so the axle will be a female,
