Has anyone ever seen a set of b series cams that in the midle of the cams the intake has a "g" stamped into it and the exhaust has an "f" stamped in.this is the first b ive ever built and i dont know if this is normal or if it is aftermarket. i have done quite a bit of searching to no avail and was wonderin if anyone on here has any insight.

nobody? i know ive seen ls cams have an n or something stamped in them, anyone ever seen letters stamped in other b cams

 

nope dunno, maybe yo ushoudl post a picture of the cam? i'm sure someone would be able to tell if its an OEM maching or not

....................... the first post says b16............ and i have no pics the end of the cam looks to be the same as a stock b16 but im not sure about those letters because this kid i got the motor from originally new nothing about cars and bought this from some guy that built it and the kid had no idea what was in it. i would assume they are stock cams, but as i started to tear down the engine i found a type r intake mani, je turbo pistons, lightweight flywheel, ported head, lsd s80 trans, etc. so i wanted to just double check on these cams but i cant find anything
