Default ASAP: simple question about TDC

ok, i'm replacing my cams, and i need to set it to TDC. i set it so the cam gears are UP and the crank pulley's white mark is aligned with the mark on the timing belt cover.

how should the cams look? where should each lobe be pointing (degrees wise, looking from cam gear side)?

The easiest way to know if your cams are pointing in the correct direction are to know where the key is on the sprockets.... The slots for the keys will be pointing straight up... If you have the sprockets on the two arrows will be pointing up and the little pointers on each sprocket will be pointing at each other... If you don't have the crankshaft pulley on then you can line the lower t-belt gear up on the oil pump housing....

Yeah what he said. Let us know how the Type R cams improve performance.
