what do you mean too tight ? did you use stock main bolts then tried the main studs and it was too tight ?

there is no reason to line bore from using main studs, they are simply replacing the main bolts and having less stretch/more clamping force.

the main stud bolts should be torque to stock specs the reason your crank don't turn is because you torqued them beyond spec, i only use AEBS studs to stock torque and never had problems.

Even if you overtorque them, it would not make the clearances tighter. Sounds like either the bearings are too tight or you are just having trouble sitting the crank down into the mains. Try again.
