The ARP head studs for my B18C used a 12 point 13mm socket.

You might wanna get a deep socket one too. and definately make sure it's the 12 piont 13mm. If you are using a 6 point 13mm, then that's probably why it's not going on.

Last I checked ARP uses SAE, so its actually something like 9/16s....12 point.

Use a 1/2" 12pt socket.

Agreed that the ARP nuts are SAE, bottom that threads into the block is threaded metric but the top threads are indeed SAE as is the nut.

I remember having to dig into my father's old assed SAE socket set looking for some 12pt. SAE sockets. 1/2" sounds right but I could be mistaken.

I was thinking 1/2" originally too, however I know I have used the larger 9/16s on something (H22, K20 or potentially a domestic 350)...or they changed them up and now use the larger size. Either way, a 13mm is damn close to 1/2". I've grabbed the 14mm, 6 point too many times before thinking a motor had the stock bolts, in fact that is why my deep well 14mm is broken.

H22 is 14mm 12 point. The nuts have a METRIC thread (look closely at them). 9/16 will work but 14mm fits better.
