after you plug it in turn the car to the on position to power the vafc up but don't start the car...and then go to misc. and scroll to bottom and there should be a choice that says iniatialize click on that and when it says are you sure hit yes then turn your key off and re-turn it back to the on position and do your initial set-up per the manual. If you don't have the manual go on their site and read how to do it so you don't screw up your engine
couldnt have said it any better myself
and yes, you dont want to mess anything up
read and re-read everything to make sure you fully understand it
i must have had read up on VAFC stuff hundreds of times before i started to tune it myself
good luck

i did the initialize option when i fisrt installed it, but i never saw anything that said "are you sure?, then click yes" i did the initialize settings per the manual that i downloaded a few days ago. am i doing something wrong?
as long as you did what the books say your good to go...just make sure your getting proper readings and all your setup stuff is correct and your good to go
