Default anyybody encounter stripped threads in the block

my driver side mount threads in the block are stripped. i can not get a torque. any suggestion before i drop the engine?

Your going to have to drill it and rethread the hole. If you skip this step then the engine mount may not be able to withstand the engine vibrations.

use helicoil to retap the treads...you need to fix the problem before the engine gets dropped in

depending on how bad the threads are stripped i would try running the proper size tap through the whole first before you drill and heli coil. The threads may be salvageable, but if that doesnt work helicoil gets my .
