Anything wrong with having the front lower than rear?
is there anything wrong with having the front dropped like an inch or two lower then the rear? increase tire wear or what? or having prokits in the rear and sportlines in the front? what are the problems if any ?
it also looks funny. there is this 6th gen civic coupe that is lower about 3 inches in the front and about 1.5 in the rear it looks funny and the biplane wing doesn't help it any either
Having the front slightly lower than the rear (like I have) Will give you increased traction on the front wheels. However, if you have it too low, you will realize some problems cornering... the nose will dive while cornering and late braking.... you gotta use stiff shocks up front to compensate for this problem.
I put front coilovers on and had difficulties with the rears. I left the fronts lowered until I could get on a lift and get the rears put on. The car drives alright, there is definitely a noticable "rake" from the back to front, but the car handles decently. For the track, I would think that a setup with a higher springrate in the rear would give the best results when launching.
