anyone use AMSOIL?
i was talkin to a very knowledgeable car guy i know & he swears by the stuff
& i think i'm gonna use Amsoil 20-50 for the engine, & eventually get the amsoil aftermarket oil filtration system
then use the amsoil tranny fluid.
has anyone used it, or have any comments? supposedly you can drive for 25,000 miles w/o an oil change if you have an amsoil filter (not that i would) but its supposed to work that well

it's very good oil. i dont think i belive the whole 25k miles oil change intervals though.....
alot of engine builders like that oil and i know a few guys who race car/bikes/snowmobiles etc who run amsoil and they all swear by it.
why would you run 20w50 though......kinda thick............10w30 or 10w40 would be fine.......

its a great overall value, as far as drain intervals go, I may do it less
based on the color of the oil... if it stays clear... keep running it.
It stays clear on a heathy motor for a long time!!
