Anyone try Kumho Ecsta ASX?

They look good. A little cheaper than the 712s, which I'm using now. I'm looking for something that'll last longer than the Supra 712s and don't mind sacrificing some performance.

i jus got them on today and im loving them, best tired have used yet. better than the avid h4's and better than the nexen's in every way
I bought a set of ASX because I needed to replace my all summer tires for all seasons due to snow around my area. I live close to Chicago so there are salt and snow plow trucks most of the time it snows so I didn't want to get all out winter tires.
So far, they are as good as all the reviews. Nice quiet tire, good ride, good grip for all season tire. I've had these for about 2 months so I can't gauge the wear characteristics yet.
As a reference, I have owned or own currently: Bridgestone S03 PP, Dunlop SP8000, Pirelli P7000, P6000, Bridgestone RE950, RE71, Yokohama AVS Intermediates, Blizzak WS50, Kumho 712, Falken Ziex, Toyo T1, Proxes FZ24, and some others I'm probably forgetting.
I bought these to see if they can compete with the Dunlop SP8000 which I've had on my Civic a few years ago. The SP8000 were a very good a/s tire and I've found good traction in the snow. The only downside to the SP8000 was the rapid wear and the price.

FYI Update: I've been driving on 6-12" of snow here lately and the ASX's are pretty good in the snow for an all season tire. I would say they are comparable to the more expensive Dunlop SP5000 or the Yok AVS DB.
