Some of you may know that the D16Y8 cylinder head has one intake port that is smaller to help induce swirl in the cumbustion chamber. I never realized how small the port was until I began to prep my Y8 head to go to the machine shop. I snapped a few reference pics for all to see. They really don't do it justice, but you get the idea. It's the intake port closest to the timing belt for each cylinder.

I cleaned up the restrictive port, but didn't have time to take pics of it. I'll let everyone know how well it does when I put it on the dyno which should be within a month.
