Anyone delete their sunroof and replace it with something else?

Anyone delete their sunroof and replace it with something else?
I would love to replace mine with a sheet of carbon fiber for fiberglass. Please post if you've done similar to yours, with pictures if possible.

currently planning on replacing the heavy glass with 6mm perspex.
i will remove the sunroof mechanisim and mount a backing plate (also made of perspex) on hte inside of the car.
the top perspex section will rest on top of this and will be sealed in place.
not sure how i will afix hte backing plate to the inside of the roof, proably with silicon sealant but there should be some material to attach some supports to to provide rigidity to the structure...
no pics as i havent done it yet...
