im putting in my exhaust today(10am) . i got 2 new rubber hangers from pep boys and im going to reuse the 2 old ones . i got 2 jack stands and 2 ramps. i will polly use the ramps and not the stands. my boy gave his old setup , it is the cat and mid pipe and the muffler is welded on alreally. i got it for 20 bucks, i hope i pass ommisions(sp..forgive me).... any tips

 

Not really. Unbolt the pipe from the cat, take everything off the hangers and put the new exhaust on. That's about it. You should be done in well under an hour.

 

what if the rubbers are 2 tight

 

lithium grease.

better yet, drive to midas/mineke, pay $40-$50, sit and drink a soda while they have a lift, a torch and impact gun at their disposal to make the job very easy.

 

what else can i use besides lithium grease.

 

wd-40 will work too
