Any one know code 20? An ELD problem in my 2001 accord
I have been having problems for quite some time and i think i found out what the problem is. its the ELD system, (something to do with the computer) I was wondering if anyone knows how i can fix this or anything else about it that would be helpful.
Have you added anything to your car lately ? Such as radio or speakers ? Anyways try resetting the ecu, resetting the ecu you can be done a couple ways, either take the back up fuse out from under the hood or simple just disconnect the battery and leave it sit for awhile. Then start it back up and see if the code comes back up. While its running turn on the headlights, and then see if the code pops up.
yeah i now have two compressors in my trunk cause i got baggs. i cant figure this out at all. im getting either code 20 (ELD) or code 17 (VSS). i dont know. i also have a v-tech controller and about the same time as this problem started my v-tech stopped hitting. Do you no anything about that? Thanks for the reply.

First its vtec, anyways it sounds like you have to much stuff going on and your car can't handle it maybe. Do what I said before and see what happens. Also if resetting the ecu you don't work maybe try unhooking some things, and then reset the ecu and see if that works. Then you will know what is causing the problem. If you getting code 17, then check to make sure your throttle cable is in all the way. If you have a check engine light, most of the times your vtec will not work. And if its your vss then it defiantly won't work.
