I did a static compression ratio on my lsv and results where between 240-250psi on all 4cyls....i was thinking around 12.1 maybe?

 

You did a dynamic compression test. Static just takes cylinder volume , combustion volume, and gets a ratio between bdc volume and tdc volume.

A compression test like you do with a gauge is a dynamic test since it also takes the camshaft timing into consideration, which can change the overall compression.

 

My h22a gets 260 across and has 10.6

 

It might help if you list your setup.

My guess would be right around 12:1 since you specifically ordered and installed 12:1 pistons

 

I run e85

 

Might be higher since i run flat valves
