are any engine harness interchangeable?
whats up guys ive been having an issue with my car lately my engine harness is damaged so i wanna replace it and i plan on going too the junkyard to get a new one since no one has one for sale. my question is are the obd1 model civic and integra harness interchangeable? will 4 door engine harness work or will integra Ls harness work etc. BTW i have a 94 civic CX with a D15B non vtec engine.
any OBD-I D-series harness should be usable. if the harness you get is non-VTEC you'll just have to run a few wires. it's easy. any other slight variation should be simple to convert (if i'm overlooking something...)
you could even use one from an auto if push comes to shove, but you'll have a few extra wires hanging loose.
my understanding is that B-series harnesses (Integra) will plug in to the chassis, but i can't confirm that it will fit up to the motor perfectly.

Well I recently purchased an obd-I harness of the Internet the guy I bought it from saidbit was from a b18b1 and said that it will work fine with the D series nobproblem that the only difference is the b-Serier is longer in some areas because of certain things being in different areas for example like o2 location and mayber some other misc I'm guessing any input guys
Everything should plug in the same as far as connectors go. You may have to extend the O2 wires but I can't confirm that. Did you already buy this or are you asking if you should buy?
There are 11 diff. D15B engines, which one do you have?
Being a 94 CX, I am guessing it's a D15B3, a non VTEC 1.5L.
We have a number of 94 Civics at our PicknPull, if you want I can check next weekend when I am out there to see if there is an intact one, most of the Civic out there still have there engines and engine harnesses, probably $36.99 or so, [large harness]. 94

An I already purchased it I'm eating for it to arrive. If it doesn't work @fcm ill definitely messege you and purchase one ill keep you guys piste when it come
It's all dependent on what motor it comes from. Most of Honda's inline 4 engines have the same electronic components (generally). A couple of things that will affect compatibility are 1) trim i.e Lx, Dx, Ex 2) wether it's a V-tec or not other than those two things, you should be good to go!
