Default Any Difference in ls and gsr vss???

i was wandering if considering the gear ratios are different in the ls and gsr transmissions if the vehicle speed sensors could be swapped with out making the spedometer off?

or can all b series transmissions vss's be swapped with no problem?

I would also like to know this answer, as someone just told me, that ls vss and gsr vss use different voltages or polarity or something.
I have a ls vss in my gsr transmission, and the spedo seems to work fine, but my car idles way high untill i stop. This might be my problem maybe...?
